Regina Maria Acquires Leading Hospital in Bucharest

Regina Maria, a MidEuropa portfolio company and a leading premium integrated private healthcare services operator in Romania, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Delta Health Care S.R.L. and Delta Health Trade S.R.L. (together “Ponderas Hospital” or the “Company”). The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in Q2 2016.

Ponderas Hospital is a leading private surgery hospital in Bucharest. The Company provides specialized and general surgeries, polyclinic, imaging, cardiology as well as ophthalmology services in a 8,600 sqm state-of-the-art facility.
