In December 2025, MidEuropa completed the acquisition of a majority stake in MBL Group, a leading European contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) for assisted mobility, rehabilitation and aged care equipment. As part of the transaction, the second generation of the founding Lauritsen family retained a significant stake in the business with Martin Lauritsen continuing to lead the Group as CEO.

Established in Denmark in 1988, MBL has grown into a trusted partner for global blue-chip clients, offering a fully integrated platform that combines in-house R&D, advanced manufacturing, and engineering excellence. The company produces both individual components and complete mobility solutions, including wheelchair parts, rollators, power add-on devices, and aged care beds. MBL employs approximately 1,700 professionals across manufacturing hubs in Europe and Asia and holds more than 100 registered patents.
