Melrose Petrol

In 2003, MidEuropa invested in Melrose Petrol, owner and operator of the Galata gas field located in the Black Sea off the coast of Bulgaria, and supported its development and production of natural gas. The transaction was an introduction from MidEuropa’s network.,MidEuropa brought in qualified managers to supervise local contractors and upon completion of the project, the investment was sold back to Melrose Resources, a listed independent oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in Bulgaria, Egypt, France and the United States.
