Optika Anda

In March 2026, MidEuropa acquired a majority stake in Optika Anda, the largest optical retailer in Croatia and one of the largest independent optical retail platforms in Southeast Europe. MidEuropa invested alongside second-generation owner and board member of Optika Anda, who reinvested in the business.

The company operates a nationwide network of 64 stores and offers a comprehensive range of prescription eyewear, sunglasses, contact lenses, and related accessories and services. Optika Anda is widely recognised for its strong customer service, modern retail concepts and trusted brand, and today employs more than 300 professionals across the country.

MidEuropa will support Optika Anda’s next phase of growth through continued expansion in Croatia, complemented by targeted international growth across Central and Southeast Europe. Optika Anda’s experienced management team, supported by MidEuropa’s Operating Team, will drive operational excellence, further digitalisation and expansion into new markets.
